PATHWAYS Cost for Online Asynchronous Theological Education Courses:
Payment: Tuition payment is due at the time of course registration unless another arrangement has been made in advance.
The only Affiliate UCC Conferences in 2018 is the Southeast Conference. There is a discount of $50 per 6-week or longer course for Affiliate conferences.
Cost per 4-week Explorer Series Course for All Participants: $99 for the course; $129 with 1.5 CEUs
Cost per 6-week Level 1, 2, 3 Courses: $295 (4 CEUs are available for 6-week courses offered to authorized ministers. In those cases, registration requires that one be an authorized minister or receive special permission)
Cost per 12-week UCC Polity and History Course: $595 (Full)

L3.6 Professional Boundaries and Ministerial Self-Care
6-week course (Oct 3 – Nov 13, 2018)
For members of UCC COMs and Conference Staff, a special section of Professional Boundaries and Ministerial Self-Care (for 4 CEU’s). Facilitated by the Rev. Vicki Wunsch, Director of Leadership and Development for the Minnesota Conference, this course explores professional ethics for clergy, including the development of an ethical paradigm, state requirements for the mandatory reporting of abuse, relational boundaries, financial management, and social media self-disclosure. This course is free for members of COMs and Conference Staff.
L1.2 Understanding the Bible as a Progressive Christian
6-week course (Oct 24 – Dec 11, 2018)
In this course, we will learn how to approach the Bible in a manner that bridges the gap between church Bible study and formal academic Biblical interpretation. Our aim is to create a safe space for both critical engagement and spiritual transformation. Over the course of six weeks, we will explore the place of the Bible in the United Church of Christ, the development of the Bible over time, and methods of studying the Biblical texts to discern meaning and purpose for our own faith lives and for the exercise of our pastoral roles as preachers and teachers.

12-week course (Aug 29 – Nov 20, 2018) Cost is $595
PATHWAYS offers a unique opportunity for MID’s and those seeking Privilege of Call: an online polity course. The purpose of this course is to explore the history, polity, theologies, and practices of the United Church of Christ and its predecessor denominations. Successful completion of this course will fulfill the history and polity requirement for authorized ministry in the UCC in many associations and conferences. Registration is limited to ten participants, but the course is offered each Fall and Spring
