Course Description

CLINICIAL PASTORAL EDUCATION OVERVIEW

In this accredited online program, learners attend all group sessions, individual supervision sessions, and didactics/workshops in an online learning format. Learners utilize video conferencing for group interactions and individual supervision encounters. Pathways’ learning management system provides a complementary resource that features the unit syllabus, objectives, outcomes, handouts, video lectures and discussion boards. This online learning format is especially helpful for students who are not able to physically attend a traditional, in-person, face-to-face CPE program because of limited or no ACPE-accredited centers near their geographic location.

Course Description

Learners can choose diverse learning settings including social justice/activism venues to meet their clinical hours. Digital ministry can also be a focus including tele-chaplaincy and online worship. This 24 week program is one unit of CPE and can be re-taken for additional units and for progression through Levels I, II and Supervision.

Please complete the Pathways CPE Application where you’ll pay the $45 application fee. Upon pre-interview acceptance, you’ll be given information on where to send your recent background check (No more than 1 year from course start date) or you’ll be billed for $50 for the background check and emailed information on completing the background check.  You’ll need to provide proof of liability insurance that costs about $35. You’ll be given instructions on how to schedule your application interview and send all documents including the  ACPE CPE application CPE Application.   

The full tuition cost of $2625 must be paid before the course begin date.

You may begin work on your CPE Application early so that it is ready.
